Lynne first trained as an organist/pianist then her love of jazz vocal emerged which led to a full time career singing around the globe entertaining 1000s. Lynne may be undiscovered yet her recordings stand side by side with the great singers.
Lynne has been able to work with the amazing musicians in her career. The highlight of course was recording with Ronnie Scott's artistic director James Pearson who incidentally played piano on Lynne's notable album, “You” which also featured Gary Husband on drums and double bass, Oli Hayhurst.
"You" was produced by guitarist Martin Kershaw. Martin has played on 1000s of hit records including Bond themes and On Days Like these. Lynne said, "to record with these guys had been such a blessing and her prayers had certainly been answered."
As well as singing with the BIll Barrow Trio Lynne often sings with the BIll Barrow Quartet and the Bill Barrow Big Swing Combo - most recently at the iconic Winter Gardens in the Empress Ballroom. She of course enjoys a her own solo career.
For over 40 years Chris has been involved in the music industry as both a performer and instrumental tutor.
"While jazz is his first love, I enjoy playing and listening to a wide range of music. My dad was an Hawaiian/steel guitar player as well and playing piano and organ." One of Chris' earliest musical influence was Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club Du Paris.
His main instrument is the guitar; but also plays bass guitar and keyboards.
He has played in support bands on the same bill as Johnny Dankworth, Alan Price, Kenny Ball, Chas and Dave and Terry Lightfoot. Chris has accompanied
P J Proby as well as Jazz Saxophonist John Barns.
